Great Instruction & Resourse Book

I am new to domino toppling and have found this book to be extremely helpful for learning new tricks and as a great resource for tricks already learned. It is well laid out with chapters for various types/styles of tricks. I prefer the coil bound option as it allows the book to always lay flat (and can be folded back so only one page is open at a time).

The pages are a thick glossy stock and contain great, easy-to-follow, photos showing the look and set up for each trick. It also contains useful information with respect to such things as laying out fields and the set up and filming of topples.

Some people tend to have their favourite way of setting things up and have their ‘go to’ tricks – I see the book as a great a resource for experienced topplers by providing inspiration for changing things up and putting in new/different tricks, structures, or visual effects. I also see it as a good reference book for brushing up and reminding one of already learned tricks that may have been long forgotten.

I have only had the book a few days, but am already putting it to great use: learning and mastering as many tricks as possible. I only wish a book like this had been available in my youth (55+ years ago) when the only domino toppling being done (or that I was aware of), was straight and curvy lines. [It just goes to show that even old dogs in their 60s can learn new tricks!] .
