Master Builder

My library bought two of these sets for an after-school program we had a grant for. I have used it for several programs and for outreach events and they are always a hit. I had one program with about 25 kids. We split them into about 12 groups and gave each group a section of floor space with entry and exit points. The kids were told to build whatever they wanted within the confines of their space, the only requirement being the entry and exit points. After building for about half an hour we had one giant build. The topple definitely had a lot of glitches, but that's all part of the game, right? The quality of the product is top notch. No parts have broken in spite of some rough use.

These dominoes are pure joy.

I purchased this set for my son and daughter for Christmas. This is the only toy that has seen constant use since then and we purchased about 800 more since then. I like building things just as much (maybe more) than they do. There are so many options, we often spend a whole evening devising new designs. We will definitely be adding to our collection.

Since Christmas my son has been building everyday. 1000 may seem like a lot, but it doesn’t take long to use all 1000. Since December we’ve added an additional 1200 to his collection.
